I wouldn't say I'm a fashionista, but recently I have become a little obsessed with fashion.

I blame Garance Dore, Scott Schuman and....myself of course!!

I only have about ten pairs of shoes (excluding trainers) , 7 bags and a....small wardrobe, honest, cross my heart and hope to die, stick a silver ring in my eye.

I'm in love with fairytale outfits like Charles Anastase, think drapes, lace, ruffles, gothic drama and victorian twists, darkness and light, boots and magic. Yeah I'm sounding mad and under a spell ;)

But yes, I will indulge myself when I get the chance :)

Scott Schuman is the creator of the blog the Sartorialist, he is a self taught photographer who takes photos of striking people on the street. I find his work refreshing and inspiring too.

He has recently published a book, which I have obtained and there is a book signing tomorrow :) I really hope people who already have the book will be allowed in Liberty's for the signing,

I love autumn, it is always a reflective time for me, the leaves are golden, the air is crisp and the sunshine hazy, muted and soft.

Spring is here!! It is so beautiful, our clematis and camellias are in bloom. It is my favourie season.

My sister and I went to Guildford today, we went to the university and it brought back a few memories, it actually is a lovely campus.

I was saying to my sister how one tends to focus on the negative stuff rather than the positives, and that I never fully appreciated the beauty of the Surrey campus.

I guess that is part of life's journey

I went to a clothes swapping charity event called swapping for good held at the Rose theatre Kingston on Wednesday. The charity was the QEF (The Queen Elizabeth's Foundation).

We had to bring at least four items of good clothing and could take away three, if you brought multiples of four the takeaway would be that multiple of three.

Style guru Nicky Hambleton Jones opened the event, there were fashion students to assist in customising clothes and Dermalogica (skincare) for anyone who wanted face mapping analysis. It was a fairly good evening, I was a little disappointed by most of the quality of the clothes there, as the event was advertised as giving your once treasured clothes no longer wanted good quality clothes away.

After a few mad attempts to find some gems I was happy that I found two, one silky top branded as Uttam and golden roll neck jumper by Echoo. These are boutique brands which was great! There was a oriental wrap top by Primak which I grabbed too.

I would go again and definitely head to the dress section first!

watched breakfast at tiffany's yesterday, fab film, now just have to buy something related to the film, a bag would be nice but too expensive, I thin an eyemask will suffice....... :)

I have an obsession with purple. Purple flowers, make up and clothing.
